Profile:
I am delighted to become a governor of Widewell School and look forward to working with the staff and children. I am married to Lisa and have 2 grown up children. I have lived in Plymouth for nearly 35 years and love the proximity to the moors and coastline. Indeed, many of my interests involve the sea and coast. I played lots of sport in my youth (mainly rugby) and enjoy walking and trying to keep fit and have been known to do a bit of DIY. Having worked in primary education for over 30 years I hope that I will be able to draw on my experiences to support the school over the next few years.
