At Sennen Primary School we expect every member of our community (children, staff, governors, parents and visitors) to behave in an appropriate and courteous manner towards each other, to be polite, thoughtful and considerate. Our school is a learning community and nobody should prevent anyone else from being able to learn, work, play and enjoy being at school.
Our approach to behaviour is nurturing, restorative and supportive but with clear expectations of what is and what is not acceptable behaviour. Children need support in recognising emotions, behaviours and actions in order to learn from any mistakes made. We celebrate and recognise good behaviour through the use of praise, recognition and rewards.
